Regulations for the stay of an NFZ patient

The Management VERANO Health and Relaxation Center would appreciate your compliance with these regulations, which are intended to ensure the peace, safety and comfort of all our Guests during their stay.

  1. A stay at the sanatorium is provided on the basis of a referral for spa treatment reimbursed by NFZ.
  2. A patient may request a shortening of their stay at the sanatorium only for important and documented unforeseen reasons. In such a case, the intention to leave early must be reported to the nurses' station at least one day in advance. The rules for issuing passes and the costs associated with them are set out in Regulation No. 01/2024 of 01.01.2024, available at the centre's reception.
  3. The sanatorium treatment period begins on the first day at 2:00 PM and ends at 12:00 PM on the last day of the stay.
  4. If arriving one day earlier at the sanatorium or wishing to remain one day longer than the date specified in the referral, the patient may, subject to room availability, be provided with paid accommodation.
  5. Formalities related to admission to the sanatorium and settlement of the stay should be handled at the Centre's reception.
  6. Punctual attendance for treatments is essential for the efficient organization of therapy. This is a condition for performing the planned treatment on that day.
  7. The patient is financially responsible for the furnishings of the room they occupy.
  8. Any damage or destruction of furnishings and technical equipment in the room should be reported immediately to the Centre's reception upon discovery. Failure to report such defects shall be taken to mean that no defects were present.
  9. Valuable items should be deposited at the reception. The management of the centre is not financially responsible for valuables not handed in for deposit.
  10. Guests are expected to remain sober during their stay.
  11. Smoking of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is prohibited on the premises of the Centre. In the event of violation of this ban in a hotel room, the bill of the guest occupying such a room will be charged an amount of PLN 500 (cost of neutralizing the tobacco odor, thorough cleaning of the room including laundering carpets, upholstery, curtains, drapes, etc.).
  12. Each time a room is left and the guest goes outside, they should check that doors and windows are closed and leave the key at reception. Do not leave bags, wallets and documents in the hallway near the entrance door. Close the entrance door while sleeping, when on the balcony or in the bathroom.
  13. A patient may request a shortening of their stay at the sanatorium only for important and documented unforeseen reasons. In such a case, the intention to leave early should be reported to the nurses' station one day in advance. The rules for issuing passes and the costs associated with them are set out in Regulation No. 01/2024 of 01.01.2024, available at the centre's reception.
  14. Discharge from the sanatorium takes place according to the date specified in the referral, except for discharge on request (e.g. an unforeseen event). Discharge papers are issued at the nurses' station on the day the treatment period ends.
  15. Any manifestation of aggression towards patients, staff, or other persons staying at the sanatorium is prohibited and may result in immediate disciplinary discharge from treatment and from the sanatorium.
  16. The patient is obliged to follow the recommendations of the sanatorium staff, including administration and medical personnel.
  17. The patient must comply with this regulation as well as the rules of the pool, fitness room, weight-training room, treatment facilities, and the regulations for using the dry sauna at the Verano brine pool, and with other rules available at the reception and in the relevant rooms.
  18. Failure to comply with the regulations, as well as gross breaches of the rules of social coexistence, may result in the patient being deprived of the right to continue their stay at the sanatorium. The Centre may refuse to accept a guest who during a previous stay grossly violated the regulations or the rules of social coexistence.
